The city of Provins recently won the title of “City of Art and History” and is inscribed on the UNESCO List of Humanity World Heritage.
Among the many architectural jewels in the city, there are the famous Tour César, symbol of the town, the collegiate church of Saint Quiriace, Saint Ayoul's church, the ramparts, the fortified gates, the 150 Romanesque and Gothic halls, and nearly 10 km of underground passages!
The Grange aux Dîmes (tithe barn) which housed the former covered market, offers an accurate and realistic re-creation of the scenes and atmosphere of the old medieval Champagne fairs.
